Annual Membership Fees

Beloved JTK Family and Friends,

Peace and Blessings.

 In Luke 21:1-4 we read: And He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury, and He saw also a certain poor widow putting in two mites. So, He said, “Truly I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all; for all these out of their abundance have put in offerings for God, but she out of her poverty put in all the livelihood that she had.” From these verses we understand that the act of giving is a sacrificial deed that is anchored in love, just as God loved us and the world by giving his only Son Jesus Christ, we are encouraged to live a life that is modeled on this act of sacrifice and generosity.

We would like to inform you of a recent matter that has been approved by our board committee. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and loss of income, we are reinstating the annual membership fee for each family in our parish in the amount of $300 to cover some of our operating expenses of $17,000 per month.

It is with great kindness that we ask for your generosity and support during this difficult time. We encourage you to donate today.

We ask the Lord to accept your gifts and to reward you for your sacrificial giving, praying wholeheartedly that He make us all worthy to continue through the Blessed Great Lent in health and strengthened soul, and to be prepared spiritually for His Holy Passion and Glorious Resurrection.
